Frequently asked questions
There is no fixed minimum, but PTL becomes worthwhile above the size and weight limits of a standard courier. Small consignments can be booked as courier instead; we will tell you which is cheaper.
Your goods wait for consolidation with other freight on the same route and may pass through a hub before the final delivery run. The saving in cost is what you get in return.
Use strong double-wall cartons, fill empty space so contents cannot shift, strap or tape every carton, and label each piece with the consignee's name, phone number and the total piece count (for example 3 of 12).
Door delivery is available for most destinations and may carry an extra charge depending on the city and the site. We state this clearly in the quote.
