Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to every consignment booked with Rise Global Logistics ("the firm"), a partnership firm with its registered office at Khasra No 6, Plot No 15, SK Villa Mangalam Residency, New Gudaura, Sarojini Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226012, GSTIN 09ABCFR7148D1Z4. By handing a consignment to the firm or its agent, the sender accepts these terms.

1. Booking and acceptance

• A booking is confirmed when the firm has accepted the consignment and issued a receipt, consignment note or lorry receipt (LR).
• The sender must give a correct description of the contents, accurate weight and dimensions, and complete sender and consignee details including a working phone number.
• The firm may inspect any consignment before acceptance and may refuse any consignment without giving reasons.

2. Prohibited and restricted items

The sender must not tender cash, currency, precious metals, jewellery, negotiable instruments, inflammables, explosives, compressed gases, hazardous chemicals, narcotics, arms, live animals, or any item whose carriage is prohibited by Indian law or by the laws of the destination. Restricted items (liquids, perishables, batteries, medicines) may be accepted only with prior written approval and suitable packing. The sender is liable for all loss, damage, fines and costs arising from a breach of this clause.

3. Packing

Unless packing is included in the firm's quotation, the sender is responsible for packing the consignment adequately for the mode of transport and the handling it will receive. The firm is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packing.

4. Charges and payment

• Charges are as quoted before pickup and are based on the information supplied by the sender. If the actual weight, dimensions or contents differ, the firm may revise the charge.
• Charges are payable {{ NEEDS INPUT: payment terms, e.g. at booking / on delivery / within 15 days for credit customers }}.
• GST is charged as applicable and shown on the invoice. Duties, taxes, demurrage, storage and customs charges at the destination are not included unless stated.

5. Transit times

Any transit time quoted is an estimate based on normal conditions. The firm does not guarantee delivery by a particular date or time and is not liable for loss caused by delay, except where expressly agreed in writing.

6. Delivery

Delivery is made to the address given by the sender and is complete when the consignment is handed over to a person at that address who accepts it. If delivery cannot be made, the firm will contact the sender for instructions; re-delivery, return or storage charges may apply.

7. Loss and damage

Claims for loss or damage are governed by the firm's Claims & Liability Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Documents and compliance

The sender is responsible for providing correct invoices, e-way bills, KYC documents and any licence or certificate required for the consignment, and for the accuracy of declared values. The firm may act as the sender's agent for customs and regulatory formalities but is not responsible for decisions of customs or other authorities.

9. Liability limits

The firm's liability for any consignment is limited as set out in the Claims & Liability Policy. The firm is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, business or market.

10. Force majeure

The firm is not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, riots, road closures, government action, epidemics and acts of customs or other authorities.

11. Website use

Content on this website is owned by Rise Global Logistics and may not be copied without permission. Quotes given through the website are estimates until confirmed by the firm.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
